Rotary Club of Armadale Welcomes Visitors & Potential New Members
The Rotary Club of Armadale is part of the worldwide fellowship of Rotary International, which is an organization of business, professional and community leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs.
Members represent a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women, as well as community leaders. Most Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
The Rotary Club of Armadale currently meets over a 2-course meal most Tuesday evenings (6:30pm for 7:00pm start) at the Champion Centre, 76 Champion Drive, Seville Grove, Westen Australia. Once per month our Board of Directors meets via Zoom. Occasionally we will go out to a restaurant or join another Rotary Club for a social evening. Or we may have a "Vocational Evening" where one of our members or sponsors invites us to visit their workplace. And our members can often be seen participating in various community events.
So, to make sure you know how and where to find us, just contact us by phone or email and we'll let you know what's happening on the evening you have in mind. Contact: President & Public Relations Director, Peter Warren: 0417 916 323 Email: peterwabbit.pw@gmail.com
The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, disabled persons, health care, international understanding and goodwill, literacy and numeracy, population issues, poverty and hunger, the environment, clean water, and Polio eradication. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.
