Thirteen local young people aged 8-13 had great fun participating in the first of two Youth Leadership Training Programmes, run by the Rotary Club of Armadale at the Champion Centre on Saturday 11 January.

The programme is made possible by a grant from the City of Armadale. Bingo, Pipe Relay, and Blindfold Navigation, were complimented by a workshop on leadership and values. We saw the young people progress in leaps and bounds with their communication skills, their ability to work as a team and finding their voice.

A second programme was run on 25 January, with 17 young participants learning teamwork and leadership skills. Activities included Human Bingo, Spaghetti Towers, Jenga, Pipe Relay and some reflective practises around leadership skills.

The programme has been funded by a grant from the City of Armadale, for which we are really appreciative.
