Sausage sizzles are a Rotary speciality anywhere in Australia—and this week’s celebration at the Champion Centre was no exception.

A big thankyou to Pa (Graham ) and Clayton Sampson , Mike Fazio , Maxine Spencer, Barry Porter, Ray Heather, Greg Walkington and Miriam Njeri (visiting Rotarian from Kenya) for all their help. Honorary member Gary Smith also was a great help in letting the public know where we were and how good our Sizzle was.

Whilst numbers were well down on forecast and we were stuck away in the corner of the front car park on the other side of Champion Centre to the Bob Blackburn reserve where most of the activity took place, we all enjoyed it and received plenty of appreciation.
Because there was so much food left over we were given 300 sausages to freeze and use at our next sizzle.

It was special moment when Indigenous performer Wayabu performed a  Noongar version of "We Are One", at the request of the sausage sizzle experts.

If you get the chance, we suggest you pay a visit visit the revamped Centre which started out as the PCYC provided by Rotary Armadale. many years ago .
